Press Ctrl+/ (Help → Shortcuts) in the app to see every shortcut. On a Mac, use ⌘ where this page says Ctrl and Option where it says Alt.

Every key except Space and zooming works once you have clicked the timeline. The + · - keys on the number pad also work with Ctrl.

Timeline mouse controls

Select with a rectangle	Drag from an empty spot
